Maybole Golf Club recently disbanded and we were contacted by Lyn Mansell of the Club to see what could be done with the Meeting Minutes.
Some of these minutes dated from the 1940s to the Present and they have now been deposited in the Ayrshire Archives. The minutes will be well looked after there and will be available for visitors to view when they have been catalogued.
The Golf Club trophies are also being appraised by South Ayrshire Councils Museums and Galleries department where it is hoped, the most historically significant ones can be put into their storage.
